Here is a video that is amazing tour of theories about the energy in the body, from Mesmer’s animal magnetism to Chinese Chi to Hindu theory of prana. There are unbelievable demonstrations here. The YouTube channel is ATLANTEAN GARDENS by Robert Sepehr.

In The Body Keeps the Score, author Bessel van der Kolk says that there are several treatments that can reduce the effect of trauma on the body (and the soul). One of them is EMDR. In a case study, Kolk describes a patient who did not want to speak of his trauma aloud, but could be guided through the therapeutic steps and mentally, silently, express facts and feelings. In other words, it wasn’t the DIALOG with another human that was important, but the patient’s mental journey. The website VirtualEMDR.com provides the service of EMDR therapy via impersonal prompts. It then runs the “ping-pong” of a dot across the screen that guides the eyes to shift right and left, for a period of time. The patient shifts the eyes while recalling the trauma and all aspects of it, and ends with a session of affirmations. The shifting of eyes is supposed to reprogram the brain. Success is: the patient can talk about the trauma with little emotion. The emotion has been weakened if not erased. The patient can heal. I have tried this on smaller traumas, like obsessing about a certain bully. After a few sessions, I found the bully boring, old hat. Get out of my life, my mind, my body, my heart and soul … There is also an APP for the phone which can run the “ping-pong” for you, if you know how to set yourself up therapeutically. See My EMDR for Android, for example. Here is my tutorial on EMDR, although the website above and other sources tell you about it. One thing that popped out of all my research was the fact that the phenomenon and practice of hypnosis is essential for understanding the movement. Its origins are in the work of Franz Mesmer, in the late 1700s. He theorized that there was an energy in the body (which he initially called “animal magnetism”). A medical doctor, he pursued treatments using magnets positioned near the body, to influence and correct the flow of energy in the body. As his practice progressed, he found that THE RAPPORT WITH THE PATIENT was key, THEIR BELIEF in the cure was key, and no magnets needed be involved. Even the therapist’s hands near the body were not needed. The word “hypnosis” was introduced by one of his followers (de Puysegur), who described patients as being in “a sleeping trance.” Essentially, the treatment entailed a GUIDED TRANCE STATE. In modern times, hypnosis has led to thousands of practitioners who have uncovered zillions of accounts of “hidden realities.”
Many books have been written by presenting material from hypnosis sessions, often verbatim. For example, Dolores Cannon, Michael Newton, Mary Rodwell, Brian Weiss, Helen Wambach, Raymond Moody. (In my book, page 322 ff.) Dolores Cannon developed her own method, called Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique℠ (QHHT®). See https://dolorescannon.com/about-qhht/ Now, you can watch an actual hypnosis session. ALBA WEINMAN has a YouTube Channel where she and her clients share a session almost every week. (She states that her method is not purely QHHT.) Here is a session DURING WHICH THE SPIRIT OF DOLORES CANNON SPEAKS thru the client! When someone goes into a trance and starts to speak in another voice, we wonder about it—A LOT. The “entities” that speak through a channeler can be “enlightened ones,” guides, and extraterrestrials. Some entities “come through” multiple channels (individuals). My book lists a lot of famous channelers: Edgar Cayce, Helena Blavatsky, J.Z. Knight (Ramtha), Jane Roberts (Seth), Chelsea Quinne Yarbro (Michael), Suzanne Giesemann (Sanaya), Bracha Goldsmith (Pleiadians), Lee Carroll (Kryon). Helen Schucman channeled Jesus to write A Course in Miracles (1976). Many books have been “channeled,” for example, Ruth Montgomery who wrote A World Beyond (1971) as the voice the deceased Arthur Ford. Draw your own conclusions. Kevin Moore has expressed his interest in these mysteries by conducting interviews with contemporary channels. Often in the course of his interview, he will ask the channel to go into trance and speak, often interactively answering questions from Moore. (The Moore Show on YouTube, which has a docuseries track: They Call Us Channelers.) There are dozens and maybe hundreds of psychics on YouTube now, if you want to catch the flavor of what “a reading” looks like. A number of Tarot card readers address political questions. They have been popular since the beginning of the “troubles” in America (hint: about six years ago), and serve as a therapeutic outlet. For example, they might tell us “what is really going on” and “how it might go.” They are of course interpreting a spread of Tarot cards. Is this legitimate? Only if you believe they are informed by spirit guides and angels. Almost always, an implicit message is “Don’t worry; hold to a higher, spiritual view of humanity.” Personalities vary, of course. Some readers cultivate emotional bonding with their subscribers, with more chatting, emoting about issues, and personal digressions. Let’s remember the Oracle at Delphi were young, innocent and sheltered women who possibly did not understand the context or implications of certain questions. LENA RODRIGUEZ TAROT DOWN UNDER is based in Australia, but addressing mostly American politics. She is a sociologist, so her take on questions is more sophisticated than most. ELLIE DREAMS DOWN UNDER is also based in Australia. She is also fairly rigorous about posing questions—and well informed. Pythia was the mouthpiece of the god Apollo, in classical Greece. Various women served as Pythia, priestesses in the temple. Pythia sat on a tripod, in an ecstatic trance state. It is speculated that there were vapors coming up from a chasm in the rock beneath her, that caused the frenzied state. The Oracle at Delphi was a powerful religious institution from the 8th Century B.C. until the late 4th Century A.D. Many leaders travelled far to visit her for prophesies and answers to their questions. Her answers were often in the form of poetic metaphor and had to be interpreted. Here is an illustration by Manning de V. Lee in 1929. Two modern oracles are on YouTube today. They are not sitting on a podium over any vapors coming up from below. STERLING PSYCHIC MEDIUM receives his questions on the Community page of his Channel, and then goes over them (30-50!!) in about an hour’s video, usually on Sundays. He handles political and spiritual questions, advised immediately by his guides and extraterrestrials. There are no divining tools. Very cordial, matter-of-fact, and no metaphorical talk that needs to be “translated.” He also offers individual readings via his website. I will call him “The Oracle of Sterling.” Another immediate oracle is CASH PETERS, also on YouTube. He does a lot of political questions, and receives answers in the form of crude sketches. They are highly metaphorical: paths, hills, caves, fields of glass, dark clouds on the horizon. He interprets his sketches. He does not claim prophesy—how things will turn out—but rather tells the current environment around a political individual, or a pair posed next to each other. He also does “transition pictures”—“going into the energy” of famous people recently departed, as they first arrive to “the tunnel to the light.” He is a former journalist and very expressive and entertaining. Did you know that contact with ETs has been classified. That's because a lot is happening and people need ways to talk about it. "CE" is an abbreviation for Close Encounter. For example, a classification developed by J. Allen Hynek: CE1 A UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) or a UAP (Unknown Aerial Phenomena) is sighted CE2 A UFO is sighted and there are physical effects, like scorched earth CE3 An entity appears, even if in a vehicle CE4 Is an abduction, either your physical body or your astral body (and Out-of-Body experience and talking to an ET) is transported CE5 Is a communication with a non-human intelligence that goes two-ways--you are having a conversation! CE6 Is an experience after which the contactee integrates the learning or "knowing" into their inner self-knowledge; like a "co-creation" Dr. Steven Greer is known for developing a protocol--a series of actions--that have prepared individuals to have a CE5 experience. This documentary describes his project, and interviews whistleblowers (on the government) and scientific experts involved with this topic. viewers face to face with extraterrestrial visitors and their message for humanity. He also has a book published in 2006.
Here is a documentary that gives you a tour of "miraculous phenomena" that defy the laws of physics and scientific experiments that measure them and prove they are "real" (to a scientist...). Producer and host is Caroline Cory, who has her own extensive experience in the field of Consciousness Science and Extra Sensory Perception. The movie is 1:55 long and made in 2020. It is very entertaining--a great way to catch up on science and the paranormal. There are at least three YouTube Channels that feature interviews with people who have had near-death experiences. National statistics say that millions of people have had these. Until recently, there was a stigma around them. People who had them and told were given medication, sent to a psychiatrist, ostracized. They were not believed. Now, we have reached "critical mass" on this experience and the experience of contact with aliens/non-human intelligence. Too many people cannot be denied. And both are being studied by researchers now, with funding. Apparently, there are physiological changes resulting from the vibration. It is quite calming. Learned this from Theosophical Society YouTube Channel. This is the HUMMING approach to raising vibrations and reducing stress. On Feb 14th, Valentine’s Day, there is an annual World Sound Healing Day. https://www.worldsoundhealingday.org/ You can sound with others, or not. The speakers note how most religions use vocalized sound (chanting, singing, humming), esp. sound made in groups. It is of course the most accessible sound therapy available, using no tuning forks, bowls, etc. Try blocking your ears, for a new experience. Ommmmmmmmmmmm |
